As the youngest student in his graduating class at the Culinary Institute of America we stop short of using the word wunderkind to describe Adam, not because it isn’t apt but rather because his well manicured goatee disqualifies him from such a juvenile nomenclature. Upon first glance one might not know that with his soft-spoken personality and Siamese cat named Sake, Adam was once ranked as one of the Top 100 Alpine skiers in the United States, but then again one also might not know that in the kitchen Adam applies the Zen-like phrase “Make it Nice” to everything he does. Guided by this simple yet effective mantra, whether he’s negotiating the gates on a Giant Slalom course or running the kitchen on even the busiest of nights at Chianti Il Ristorante Adam never spills.
