Classic Italian Cocktails: Mixology series with Pietro Luca Bordignon at Chianti Il Ristorante

The Classic Italian Cocktails Mixology Series is a hands-on experience. At each class learn to make two classic Italian cocktails from start to finish. All cocktails will also be accompanied by a small bites selection from Executive Chef Fabrizio Bazzani. You will practice how to make each cocktail with ease, be given the recipes, and knowledge, to perfectly create your cocktails at home or with friends.

Three Classes to choose from or take all three! Seating is limited so reserve your seats early to guarantee your place at the table.

Jumpin’ right in let me tell you what we’re thinking, Z Alexander is the wine that we’re drinking AGAIN on September 29 at Forno Bistro. Join us the day Zac Brown plays SPAC for our 2nd Annual Z Alexander Backyard Barbecue Tailgate Party Wine & Food Tasting. And who knows… this year we might be craft enough to convince a very special guest to make an appearance.

‘Cause we’re Zamily, and when you get to Forno, where the grill is hot and the wine will pour, no black tie dinner just food truck partyin’, the Owl on the label is the Grapevine Guardian.

Zac Brown has always been a creator, and learned the importance of devoting himself to his craft early in life. He applies that passion for quality not only to his music, but to all the creative endeavors he undertakes. Zac’s drive to find inspiration in our world is second only to his desire to share it with others. When he and winemaker John Killebrew met, they instantly recognized in each other a common passion for creating unique experiences that reflect quality and originality. Their collaboration is Z. Alexander Brown; big, bold wines of uncommon finesse and character.

Z Alexander Cabernet Sauvignon – Unfolds with rich aromas of black cherry, mocha and sweet toasted oak notes. Bold tannins frame a powerful mid-palate layered with mouth-filling flavors of black cherry and milk chocolate. Smooth and balanced, an elegant finesse defines the long and lingering finish.

Z Alexander Proprietary Red Blend – Dark garnet in the glass, commanding aromas of blueberry, caramel and toasted oak preview a bold, mouth-filling palate stacked with concentrated layers of ripe dark fruit, black cherry and milk chocolate. Robust and full-bodied with excellent weight in the mid-palate, this complex wine leaves a lasting impression with a smooth, round and full finish.

Z Alexander Pinot Noir – This lush and layered Pinot Noir is overflowing with intense aromas of black cherry, vanilla and toasty oak. Smooth with supple tannins, robust flavors of fresh raspberry jam and strawberry are complemented by silky underpinnings of rich mocha and caramel. Jammy and voluminous, rich juicy ripe fruit lingers on through the finish.

Z Alexander Sauvignon Blanc – Opens with bright aromas of lemongrass, melon, and guava. On the palate, tropical flavors of passion fruit and mango are accented by zesty lemon, lime and orange blossom. Refreshing and balanced, this medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc extends into a juicy, lingering finish.

Z Alexander Chardonnay – Honey-colored in the glass, Z. Alexander Brown Chardonnay exudes bright aromas of white peach, grilled pineapple and Meyer lemon with hints of toasted oak and baking spice. A rich, velvety mouthfeel is supported by core flavors of apricot, tangerine, vanilla and bees wax. These complex, layered flavors extend into the finish. This Chardonnay is well-balanced; full-bodied with an acidic undertone, making it a perfect pairing with a wide range of fare.
